Community Standards
DV8 is a verified 18+ social and dating community. These rules apply to profiles, photos, messages, shared rooms, calls and real-world conduct connected to the service.
1. Adults only
Minors are prohibited. Never sexualise, solicit, depict or attempt to contact a person under 18. Report suspected minors immediately. Do not joke about being underage or misrepresent your age.
2. Consent is mandatory
Respect “no”, silence, blocks and withdrawn consent. Do not pressure, coerce, stalk, threaten, blackmail or share intimate content without permission. Fetish or BDSM interests never replace explicit, informed and reversible consent.
3. Keep public areas appropriate
Public profile photos and shared spaces must not contain explicit nudity, sexual acts, graphic fetish activity or genital-focused imagery. Do not send unsolicited explicit media in private conversations.
4. Treat people with dignity
No harassment, bullying, hate speech, dehumanisation or discrimination based on protected characteristics. Preferences may be expressed respectfully; attacks on a group or individual may not.
5. Be authentic
No impersonation, catfishing, deceptive edited imagery, spam, bots, scams, phishing, malicious links or attempts to obtain financial credentials. Do not publish another person’s private information.
6. No exploitation or illegal activity
DV8 may not be used for trafficking, exploitation, commercial sexual services, controlled-substance sales, weapons sales, fraud, extortion or instructions facilitating serious harm. Do not promote severely impaired consent.
7. Report and block
Use Report for prohibited users or content and Block to stop interaction. Reports should be made in good faith. Knowingly false or abusive reporting may itself lead to enforcement.
8. Enforcement and appeals
We may remove content, restrict features, issue warnings, suspend or ban accounts, preserve evidence and notify appropriate authorities where legally required or necessary to protect someone. Severity, context, history and risk inform the response. You may ask for a moderation decision to be reviewed through Messages → Support → Appeal a moderation decision.
