Manage your profile and visibility

Open DV8 Settings to update profile information and preferences. You can use Incognito Mode when you want a break from normal visibility. Other members see approximate proximity, not your exact coordinates.

Location and notifications

• Location: allow or withdraw DV8 location access in your device settings. You can select an approximate area manually instead of sharing device location.
• Notifications: change DV8 notification permissions in your device settings and use the notification controls available inside DV8.

Withdrawing an optional permission does not affect processing already carried out while it was enabled. Features that need that permission may stop working.

Access, correct or receive your data

You can correct many profile details directly in DV8. To ask for a copy of your personal data, correct something you cannot edit, or request data portability, email us from the address registered to your account.

Object, restrict or withdraw consent

Depending on the law where you live, you may object to certain processing, ask us to restrict it, or withdraw consent for optional processing. Tell us which activity concerns you and your country so we can assess the request.

Delete your account and data

You can initiate permanent account deletion from DV8 Settings. Our deletion page explains the steps, what is removed, and how to request help if you cannot sign in.

What happens after a request

We may need to verify that you control the account before disclosing, changing or deleting information. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain if an exemption or retention duty applies. You may also complain to your local data-protection regulator.
